General Information

Welcome to the SEAT Central Launch Training

The SEAT Central Launch Training Portal is an online platform made available by SEAT Product Training / Network Development to sales staff of the SEAT car brand in Europe / worldwide exclusively as part of the SEAT Central Launch Training.

If your market is not participating in the SEAT Central Launch Training or you have not yet received your login information, unfortunately you are not currently entitled to use the SEAT Central Launch Training Portal. In this case, please contact your national training officer.

You must read and consent to the SEAT Central Launch Training Terms of Use before you can start using the SEAT Central Launch Training Portal.

Terms of use

The present terms of use (hereinafter, “Terms of Use”) regulate the use (including simple access) of SEAT Central Launch Training Portal website, including all contents and services available on it. Every person accessing to the present website shall be considered as “User” and will always accept expressly, automatically and voluntarily the Terms of Use herein covered in force when he/she accesses to the website as well as the special conditions, if those are applicable.

In any event, SEAT reserves the right to change the structure and the design of the website, to vary or remove services or contents as well as the terms of access and/or use of the website unilaterally at any time and without prior notice.

User acknowledges and voluntarily and expressly accepts that the use of the website is made under his/her sole and exclusive responsibility at all times.

When using the website, the User undertakes not to act in any way that may harm the image, interests or rights of SEAT or third parties; or that may damage, render useless or overload the SEAT website, or that may hinder in any way the normal use of the aforementioned webpage. In particular, the User undertakes not to carry out any of the following actions:

Use the website and/or its contents against the current Law, the present Terms of Use, morality, good customs and established public order, or for illegal purposes, prohibited or aiming at violating the rights and interests of SEAT or third parties.

Use the website and/or its contents in other private or commercial websites or make commercial or professional use of such website; nor to include hyperlinks to the website or any of its contents.

Alter, copy, modify, decompile, disassemble, do reverse engineering, grant licenses, lease, sell or imitate the website, its contents or its software base.

Pass on virus or other harmful component that may affect, impairs or damage the website and/or its contents or which may interfere with the use and enjoyment of the website by other users.

SEAT implements reasonably sufficient security measures to detect the existence of viruses. Nevertheless, User must be aware that the existing security measures for computer systems on the Internet are not completely trustworthy. Therefore, SEAT is not able to guarantee the non-existence of viruses or any other elements that may cause alterations to User’s computer system (software and hardware) or to his/her electronic documents and files contain in such systems.

Intellectual and Industrial Property

All intellectual and industrial property rights over the website (including but not limited to, its software base, the texts, pictures, sounds, animations, videos, works, designs, logos, trademarks, other distinctive signs, data bases and any other content forming part of this website, etc.) (hereinafter, the “Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights”) are the exclusive property of SEAT or, if appropriate, of third parties (SEAT’s licensees or licensors), independently of whether they have been registered or not.

The Terms of Use herein contained shall not be construed as to assign any Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights over the website or over any of the parts and/or contents thereof except for the limited authorization granted to the User for browsing through the website for private purposes only.

Any form of exploitation of the referred Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights, such as its reproduction, distribution, public communication (including making available through Internet) and transformation shall be forbidden for Users unless expressly authorized by SEAT.

In addition, it is prohibited to carry out any disclosure, extraction, reusing, resending or in any way using, totally or partially, in any medium or support of any of the parts of the website belonging to SEAT without the prior and express consent of the company.

Products

Although SEAT makes its best efforts so that the information contained in the website is updated and accurate, such information has to be considered only as indicative and therefore, its sole purpose is to represent a guiding element in order to provide general data, but not detailed or specific information about products and services appearing in the mentioned website. In this respect, said information can be subject to the changes and should not be understood as representing an offer, promotion or marketing of products or services related to SEAT.

SEAT is at the user’s disposal in order supply detailed information about the whole range of products and services contained in the present website as well as to provide more precise data to meet the user’s needs and preferences.

The pictures and colours of the shown paints may not match with the real range of the products marketed by SEAT.

Exclusion of liability and guarantees

SEAT shall not be held responsible for any faults affecting its server or the communication networks, nor for problems resulting from the malfunctioning or use of non-optimized versions of web browsers. In addition, SEAT would not be responsible of any error, inaccuracy, veracity or regular updating of the content of the website.

Whoever may visit the website is entirely responsible for the access to this website and of any use made of the information contained therein. SEAT shall not be held liable for any consequence, damage or prejudice that may arise out of such access to or use of the information. SEAT shall not be held liable for any security errors or damages that may be caused to the User's computer system (hardware and software) and/or the files or documents stored on the same. In particular, SEAT shall not be responsible as a result of viruses in the User’s computer, failure of the browser, telephone line malfunctions, Internet connectivity, interferences, omissions or disconnections in the operational functioning of the User’s electronic system and, in general, for reasons beyond the company’s control.

SEAT reserves the right to deny access to a User in case of any sign evidencing that the use of the offered services is done in a fraudulent manner as well as to take the appropriate legal action to defend its interests or to suspend temporarily and without previous warning the accessibility to the website on the occasion of operations of maintenance, repair, update or improvement.

Links to other websites

For the user’s convenience, this website contains links to other web pages which be subject to other terms of use or other privacy policies. Under no circumstances will personal data be exchanged with such external websites. SEAT shall not be responsible for the content or any other aspect related to websites belonging to or managed by third parties, even if they are part of the SEAT Group.

The inclusion of links to other websites by Users is forbidden unless express authorization is granted by SEAT.

Responsibility regarding the access to social networks

SEAT accepts no responsibility regarding the information contained in social networks to which the User can access by means of the website since those networks have their own terms of use and privacy policies which are beyond the control of the company.

SEAT is exonerated of total responsibility for the proper functioning of such social networks, for the truth and legality of the contents or information which may be accessed and for any harm that the User may sustain as a result of using such data.

Severability

The illegality, invalidity or nullity of any of the clauses of this Terms of Use will not affect the validity of its other clauses, provided the rights and obligations of the parties under this Terms of Use are not affected in an essential manner. Essential is understood as any situation that seriously damages the interests of any of the parties, or affects the purpose of this Terms of Use. Such clauses are to be replaced or included in other clauses that, in accordance with law, serve the same purpose as the substituted clause.

Applicable legislation and jurisdictional competence

All disputes or claims arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms of Use shall be governed by Spanish common legislation and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts of the city of Barcelona.

The users acting in their condition as consumers may also submit any conflict arising from or related to these Terms of Use to an Alternative Dispute Resolution proceeding (hereinafter, “ADR”), if applicable. Data Privacy Policy

SEAT Central Launch Training Portal collects personal data of the employees and sales staff participating in the SEAT Central Launch Training provided this is needed to provide and authenticate user access, provide training content, comply with the SEAT security guidelines or optimise the platform. This includes only the first name, last name, email address, language, gender, dealership/salesperson number and country. We collect this data so that we can provide the user with reliable, secure access to the SEAT Central Launch Training Portal.

In addition to this, data storage specifically related to participants involves saving and consolidating portal activities for the anonymous analysis of surveys and online training activities:

  • completion of online courses
  • completion of knowledge test incl. correct / incorrect answers
  • completed quiz duel rounds incl. correct / incorrect answers
  • completed activities on the SEAT Central Launch Training event
  • website analytics: (sub-)pages / web layers accessed

All the answers given by the user as part of the SEAT Central Launch Training are expressed voluntarily. There is no obligation to provide answers or take part in exercises. The user is entitled to decline to answer without fear of consequences.

SEAT is entitled to amend these Terms of Use at any time. Changes to the Terms of Use will automatically take effect 15 days after publication. In such instances, SEAT will inform the user that new Terms of Use apply. Users may contact their training manager if they have any questions about the Terms of Use.

Cookies Policy and similar technologies

It is notified to the User that the application uses cookies and similar technologies. These cookies and similar technologies are small data files generated in the User's terminal equipment which allows to store the information generated by its network activity. The Cookies and similar technologies allows an Application, among other things, to store and retrieve information about a Users’ browsing habits or his terminal equipment and, depending on the information they contain and how their terminal equipment is being used, they can be used to recognize the User.

Technical Requirements

We would like to explain which functional modules are needed to use the SEAT websites and what the user get from these.

Browser

Browsers are programs used to view (or "browse") Internet pages. Browsers interpret the Internet page markup language HTML and display it on the computer as a website. Besides displaying text, modern browsers can also display graphics, video clips and other data formats, sometimes with the aid of plug-ins, add-ons or viewers. The browsers currently supported are Internet Explorer (from version 11), Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox (from version 60) and Google Chrome (from version 67).

We recommend the following browser settings to best view the SEAT web pages, e.g. Internet Explorer:

When using the Internet Explorer browser, please click as follows: The "Extras" cog wheel in the top right, then "Internet options" and the "Advanced" tab. Under "Multimedia" in the bottom third, tick "Show pictures".

We recommend the following plug-in when using SEAT websites:

Acrobat Reader: Acrobat Reader enables the user to view and print out such things as brochures and tables in Portable Document Format (PDF).
